Kew Gardens

As part of a wider HLF bid project managed by Julia Holberry, Emma produced an audience development plan for the Marianne North Gallery in Kew Gardens. Marianne North was a unique Victorian artist who travelled widely in order to paint flowers in their natural habitats.  832 of her paintings are displayed in the purpose-built gallery at Kew within the Gardens and were hung by Marianne North herself.

As a result of the quality of the Marianne North ADP the organisation also commissioned another audience development plan for the wider organisation. Education, outreach and life long learning were mission critical for this work. A subsequent visit by the expert HLF panel singled out the Audience Development Plan as a “very good piece of work”. The client was particularly impressed with the stakeholder workshop run as a means of gaining vital internal buy in for the process.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
