Corrymeela Community |
With the paramilitary ceasefires, the Good Friday Agreement and the establishment of shared government institutions in Northern Ireland, it has been a period of reflection and review for organisations which have been dedicated to work for reconciliation and peace. This has been compounded by a significant decrease in the funds available to these groups, despite continuing sectarianism affecting society. With extensive experience in this area, Courtney Consulting facilitated an extensive consultation process and the development of a new strategic plan to guide the future development of the organisation. We also developed an operational plan to focus the work of the organisation towards achieving its new strategic aims and priorities. By the end of 2009 Corrymeela will have completely redeveloped all the buildings on its magnificent site on the north Antrim coast and expanded its work into new areas such as support for minority ethnic groups. |
